Happy Tuesday Folks!
We are chatting about sea salt ALL week here.
Specifically the Maldon Sea Salt.
CHOCOLATE CHIP PISTACHIO SEA SALT COOKIES
All week here at MGB!
dark chocolate chips | pistachios | maldon sea salt
I needed a photo of these, so of course we had to bake some yesterday - and eat them too, oh shucks! So soft. So chocolate-ey. So pistachio-ey… which pistachios are rich in fiber and protein and maybe magnesium or something? So clearly a healthy choice ;)
And then that Maldon Sea Salt — flakey & cute. Yes, cute. It really pulls everything together.

Selling Maldon Sea Salt since 2024 —
These little 8.5 oz boxes fly off the shelf!
We now have the big boyz in — a 3.1 lb bucket that will last you quite some time OR a little smaller 20.12 oz bucket. Either way, it’s nice to have flakey good salt on hand. We keep ours in a little bowl on top of our oven. Very handy.
SOOO stop in and pick up the papa, the mama, or the baby.
Smoked Sea Salt too!
LUNCHBOX SPECIAL

This special AND our grilled cheese always has Maldon Sea Salt sprinkled on top for a little extra party city.
Enough about salt, let’s talk about beautiful people in the world > > >
Claire Saves the Day ...
Michael & I ran to Jung Garden Center yesterday to purchase some terracotta pots for the backyard. FUN!
3 big ones, 3 medium ones, and then a tiny tiny tinyyyyyy (no I’m not talking about the puppy - she’s doing great though) terracotta pot. It was the cutest thing ever. I showed it to Michael and then went to grab some flowers and peruse the perennials. I later met Michael back up at the checkout counter.
We put all of our items on the counter and that tiny tiny tiny pot shows up. “No - Absolutely not” I said. “We don't need another thing that’s just going to get lost - literally blow away, it’s so small.”
Poor guy - Michael puts it off the the side and tells the cashier we will pass on it.
I’m so mean — I’m also LAUGHING as I’m typing this. Michael was fine - don’t feel bad for him. He’s a big boy.
BUT — the lady behind us (BLESS HER SOUL) looks at Michael with his puppy dog eyes and asks “What are you going to use it for?” Michael says “For comic relief.” This woman asks the cashier “Well, how much is it?”
“30 cents.”
This sweet lady (Claire) says “Put it on my tab and then he can take it home. You’ll need the perfect little plant to put in there though.” She THEN PLUCKS a tiny little piece of her succulent from her ONE plant she was buying and said “Here you go - now THIS is the perfect plant.”
Which it was. It was the perfect plant for the perfect pot for the perfect Michael to get his perfect comic relief. We laughed and others in the store saw it too and it was just the cutest little moment and a great reminder that — In Claire’s words “You need to do the things that bring you joy.”
We named the plant Claire and she’s in our backyard. The tiniest pot in the world is sitting on the biggest backyard table in the world. Ask Michael about the table he built when you have a second…
Anyway — Let your husband buy the tiny pot. Be nice to people. Spread the joy and let others watch you do it. Claire - you rock.
One more thing — later that day I ran to the grocery store. Who did I run into?
CLAIRE.
We hugged.
Love the pot story. Thanks for sharing. :-)
