Main Grain Bakery is growing up. It’s like she’s graduating high school and now has to figure out her next steps. She’s moving out of that comfy spot of hers where everything feels safe, cozy, and slightly cluttered, but it’s time. She can’t live with mom and dad forever.

It’s been 15 years of developing who we are and how MGB best shows up in this community. You all showed up on day ONE in 2011 and didn’t stop. This community has supported us like there’s no tomorrow. We’ve outgrown our original location that we absolutely love and adore - and we’re moving on.

MGB is moving to Central City Market | 2041 Madison Street which is centrally located in the heart of Stevens Point, WI.

Yes… we are sitting in the unfinished entrance of Central City Market with a foster dog, a bat for no reason, a fake fiddle leaf, and a real palmy-plant.

I know your next question… when are you moving?

Timelines are tricky, but early 2027 is our goal — and you’ll be the first to know when that’s locked in. Keep scrolling for a sneak peak of the space and an idea of how it’s going to feeeeeel.

Our new space means a long drop dead gorgeous counter where you can see every single thing we have to offer — no tip toes, no guessing, no trying to peek around the wall to see what’s left on the counter…

And I know you may be wondering… Why is the foster dog Dewey in these photos? And the answer? Because he’s the coolest dog ever and he’s still looking for his perfect family….and why not? Life is boring without dogs.

Michael has been our behind the scenes in-house designer making sure that every detail is covered. From lighting design to where the plants are going…. to the perfectly lined baked goods, he’s been a little mouse in the corner just clicking away. We’ve been researching… we’ve been dreaming… we’ve been brainstorming the perfect way to create the new Main Grain Bakery & Eatery.

Natural light… beautiful brick… and a little extra space to breathe - just what MGB is looking for. Just what MGB deserves.
