Awww he’s living the happiest little life. I saw him a couple weeks ago and he weighed in at 75 lbs! He’s come a long way — remember early February when that guy could hardly walk up the steps? 97 lbs was a lot…
What a trooper.
Ya’ll have been asking, so here are some fun little details about Gus’ new life!
Gussy pot pie is loving his little country life. They spend a lot of time outside hanging in the big yard while he sniffs around. The curious neighborhood dogs have come over to say hello. Most mornings, he rides along to school drop off. After making himself comfortable on a small living room pouf, he now has a bigggg bed to enjoy. Gus has now been to Chicago - add it to the list of all the places he’s traveled since pulling him from the shelter in February! He got to meet his cousin dog and it went great. He just loves being with the people and they love being with him. Little Penn & his friends like taking him on adventure walks by the river. What a glorious life!
I’m looking forward to seeing him next. He’s going to hang with me not this weekend, but next! You’ll seem him on the gram :)
His goal weight is 60 lbs — You better believe I’ll keep you all posted! And Tiny? She’s doing well too — more on that next time.
