CHOCOLATE CHERRY MUFFINS, BABY!


Dark chocolate bits & door county cherries togetherrrrr at lassssst.
WITH BALSAMIC VINEGAR? OH YES WE DID.
Folded that 25 Star Balsamic right in that muffin batter for an extra FLAVOR-FLAVE — sourced from the Stevens Point downtown oil & vinegar shop, Diversi-Tea! This specific balsamic is a MUST have in your pantry — great for drizzling over that summer bruschetta, whatever pizza you’re eating these days, or even watermelon!


Of course we have a few other fun vinegars to try in our shop this week! Crushed Blueberry Vinegar (perfect for salads, dressings, smoothies, cocktails… you name it. Toss in a tablespoon or two into that berry pie you’re making for the 4th of July…)
THIS CREW —
I walked over to the eatery the other day to check and see how many more champagne bottles to order and if we were fully stocked on cold brew cream coffee in a can. Then I saw these three taking their break together before we opened for lunch. How adorable. What a CREW.

Chris didn’t pack a lunch. Why would he? You get free lunch at work, so of course he’s going to fill up on a half sandwich and a cup of soup. What’s in that silver bowl though… maybe some extra cake scraps or brownie edges being passed around from the bakery? A cup of coffee (no cream) to pump him up for the lunch rush. He’s tight with the sandwiches and always has time to help others. Nice hat.
Morgan. Of course she made some sort of vegan salad at home, likely meal prepped for the week and tossed in extra carrots to use them up before they go bad. A re-usable container with a matching lid all packed perfectly into her basket she carries around - it’s too stinkin’ cute. Sipping on cold Kombucha I bet - in that insulated mug. She’s a treat and 10/10 so sweet and patient with the Saturday morning bakery line out the door.
Ahtziri. So photogenic with that gaze. Looking into the distance… thinking about the ten different varieties of clouds in the sky. Stratus…Cumulus… you get it. She’s not into lunch right now — too early. A shrub tart from the bakery to hold her over should do the trick. Always rockin’ a solid haircut and a good gift-giver. Always thinking of others. Sipping on a cold brew coffee in the thermos. Nalgene water bottle on hand at all times.
